BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Paul Conlin - President
Paul Conlin is a resident of Fargo, N.D. He and his wife Kerry have two children, Dexter (4) and Mackenzie (3).They are members of 1st Lutheran Church and enjoy their time traveling and playing golf with family and friends. Paul graduated from Fargo South High in 1980 and attended Moorhead State University before pursuing a career in golf related fields around the world. Returning to Fargo in 1993, Paul worked in the sales and hospitality field in various capacities before starting Cars and Kids in 2004. Cars and Kids, Inc. is currently filed as a 501C3 status corporation of which Paul serves as President. Paul has also served as a Hotline volunteer and junior golf instructor in the Fargo-Moorhead area.

Mark Johnson - Vice President
Mark W. Johnson lives in Moorhead, MN with his wife Pam and children Lucas (6) and Cassandra (5). They are members of St. Joeseph Catholic Church in Moorhead and they enjoy family time outdoors and traveling. Mark graduated from Fargo Shanley High School in 1987 and received a Business Management degree form the University of North Dakota in 1991. Mark joined the Professional Golfer's Association of America in 1991 and has been the Director of Golf at The Meadows Golf Club in Moorhead since 1996.

Steve Swanson - Secretary
Steve Swanson is a resident of West Fargo, ND. He and his wife Jill have two children, Tyler (15) and Paige (12). They are members of Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fargo and enjoy following their childrens sporting activities such as Hockey, Soccer, and Football. Steve graduated from Fargo South High School in 1987 and attended Moorhead State University and then North Dakota State University, where he graduated in 1992 with a business degree. After graduation, Steve began his career as an independent property and casualty agent specializing in both personal and commercial lines of insurance. He currently works for Vaaler Insurance in Fargo.

James Ford - Treasurer
James Ford, CPA is a resident of Moorhead, MN. He and his wife Sara have a three year old daughter named Sidney. James graduated from with honors in accounting from North Dakota State University. He is currently a manager with Eide Bailly LLP in Fargo. In his spare time James enjoys playing golf and relaxing with friends and family.

John Goff - Board Member
John was raised in Fargo, ND and graduated from South High in 1973. He received a degree in economics from the University of North Dakota in 1977 and a law degree from Hamline University in 1981. After working for the Rice Co. Attorney's Office until 1984, he returned to Fargo and became an assistant of the Cass County State's Attorney. He was elected and served as the Cass County State's Attorney from 1990 to 1998. John currently focuses his attention on civil litigation, criminal defense, and family law in private practice with Montgomery Goff and Bullis Law Firm in Fargo. When not busy working he enjoys golfing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. John has two children Kate (15) and Rob (12).
